Introducing a new accent colour into your home isn’t always easy, but it doesn’t have to be an overwhelming task! You may be thinking, ‘Will it clash with my current accent colour?’ or, ‘Where do I even start?!’. If you have a crush on blush like we do, the easiest way to introduce it, or any colour for that matter, is to start slow; progressively add in new accent pieces to replace your old ones. Remember, less is more. Tip: not all your blush accents need to be the same tone; Brining in varying shades will create more of a dynamic look!
Blush has been creeping its way into our mainstream decor for a few years now, so it’s not hard to find that perfect pink accent piece.
Here are some of my favourite blush “starter pieces” I have in my own home that helped me get on trend!

Other accent pieces could include:
- Toss cushions
- Throw blankets
- Area rugs
- Towels
- Blush rimmed mirrors or pictures frames
- Rose quartz
- Florals (hello pink peonies!)
- Or even office supplies!
If you’re really committing to blush, try:
- Painting an accent wall
- Adding blush drapery
- Blush bedding
- Get a blush armchair, or do I dare say… full love seat or sofa!?
