As an interior designer, Leah’s passion for function and her innate sense of style help her to create practical yet beautiful spaces for all of her clients. With a strong eye for detail and the ability to put herself in the client’s shoes, she is focused on ensuring each project is unique to the space and the client.

Leah’s love for interior design began at a young age, as she frequently redecorated her room and visited show homes. This early passion sparked a desire to evoke feelings in herself and others through design. Leah excels at envisioning the end product of a design project, from floor plans to room arrangements and decor.

Leah’s education includes a Residential Interiors Certificate from the University of Alberta and an Interior Design Technology Diploma from NAIT. This combination of technical and creative knowledge has been invaluable in both her professional career and her personal design projects. Leah enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest trends and ideas in the design industry and is always inspired to step out of her comfort zone. Her personal design style ranges from modern farmhouse to modern organic.

Beyond design, Leah is passionate about baking, golfing, exploring the river valley, spending time at the lake, and relaxing with Netflix. She recently got married and has the impressive ability to hold a wall sit for 5 minutes!

What is your favorite part about design and/or favorite step in the design process?
My favorite part about design is the satisfaction of seeing the finished project come together with all the furnishings and details and knowing the process it took to get to that point.

What is your favorite local shop/restaurant in Edmonton?
My favorite restaurant is Braven in the ICE District. The interior design is rustic and trendy – LOVE the green wall tile – and the food is amazing!

If you had a design mantra or phrase that you live by in all your designs, what would it be?
Always add natural materials and colours.

What or who is your source for creative inspiration?

Being in nature surrounded by organic colours and shapes rejuvenates my brain and gives me inspiration to design. I also have to give plenty of credit to HGTV shows!
